Home - Welcome to The Elizabeth Scott Community, a family owner and operated facility since 1949. We offer various living arrangements and a continuum of care to meet the needs of our residents today as their needs change in the future.

Independent Living - This level is ideal for individuals or couples that want to maintain their independence yet wish to be free of the hassles and burdens of housekeeping, cooking, and home maintenance and yard upkeep.

Assisted Living I - Our apartments offer a home-like environment, coupled with the extra help needed to be free of chores. Ten different floor plans are available in various price ranges to meet your budget requirements.

Assisted Living II - The Elizabeth Scott Community was one of the first area facilities to offer a second level of Assisted Living, often referred to as residential care. Assisted Living Level II provides some nursing services, but not 24-hour skilled nursing care as that offered in our long-term care facility.

Long-Term Care - Our nursing facility is designed for individuals who are unable to care for themselves and who require skilled nursing care, rehabilitative care or other supervised needs. We emphasize homelike, rehabilitative nursing care 24/7 including physical, occupational and speech therapies as well as restorative care with complete follow-up therapy plans.

Respite Care - Respite care is offered to individuals as a short-term place to stay so family members and caregivers can take time off from caring for a loved one. We offer respite care in both our Assisted Living Level I & II facilities.

Our History - The Elizabeth Scott Community remains as one of the few assisted living and long-term care facilities in the area to be family owned and operated. Family ownership sets us apart from those facilities owned by large corporations. The loving care and attention of our owners extends to staff members who are hardworking, professional, and loving.

News - The Elizabeth Scott Community has seemingly been around forever (60 years to be exact) but we are always trying to think new! Elizabeth Scott and its owners and operators, the Bucher family, are in the planning stages of implementing a new level of care. This new level of care, Independent Living, will give residents even greater enjoyment in retirement living.
